On the 3rd Sunday of the month, we partner with Pastor Bruce Arnold and HOMEpdx to provide a hot meal for our houseless friends.
In Matthew 25, Jesus teaches us that by serving others, we serve Him. We believe this is what brings change.
Sunday, April 20th, we are we are preparing a special Easter lunch for our friends under the Hawthorne Bridge in our partnership with Pastor Bruce Arnold and HOMEpdx. Our kids will decorate the lunch bags and we'll fill them with cheesy ham and potatoes, veggies, Easter eggs and candy. As an extra treat, we're scooping up ice cream sundaes on site!
We invite you to dye an extra dozen eggs with your kids, pick up an extra bag or two of Easter candy, an ice cream topping or rolls. SIGN UP HERE TO CONTRIBUTE.
We also encourage you to stick around for 30 minutes or so after the Easter service to help us fill the lunch bags. Or join us downtown for an hour to help bring Easter joy to our houseless friends.

This Lent we are inviting folks to read The Wood Between the Worlds by Brian Zahnd. We will be referencing the book on Sunday mornings, a few life groups will be reading it together, and we encourage you to pick up a copy for yourself to enrich this Lenten season.

Our houseless friends need cell phones in order to keep up with appointments and housing information. If you have an old cell phone or I-pad you’re no longer using, please drop it off at the church.
